Mission Statement
The Los Angels Bureau was established in 1998 to unite the corporate entertainment industry in embracing diversity principles to level the playing field and to work together to create opportunities in utilizing human resources, business supplier relationships, corporate leadership and positive images. Over the years the Wall Street West Entertainment Project has monitored the issue of diversity by working with unions, studios, corporations and networks regarding equity and parity within the industry. In 2004, the first Wall Street West Automotive Symposium was initiated and in March 2005 we held our 2nd Wall Street West Automotive Symposium; after the first auto symposium Rainbow realized the need for a west coast automotive presence. We have expanded our Los Angeles Bureau to include the automotive project. The Los Angeles Bureau goals are:
- Develop strategic partnerships that bring added value to the marketplace, focusing on corporations and youth education.
- To assist corporations with the need of building infrastructure that supports a growing diverse market.
- Partner and assist the entertainment industry and automotive manufactures to develop and execute strategically focused diversity marketing plans and implement measurements to ensure program success.
- Promote intra-trade relationships among diverse businesses.
- Assist corporations in identifying supplier opportunities for people of color and women
- Promote and increase minority participation and program integration at all levels of the automotive and entertainment industry through partnership, research and community relations
- Improve hiring, promotion and retention practices
- Research diversity plans of the industry to ensure equal and fair consideration for minorities in every level
- To tell our story
We believe that equal opportunity is everyone’s dream and everyone’s right.
