Family of man who died after NYPD came to his home questions police actions

NBC New York – The family of a Brooklyn man who collapsed and died after police came to his home early Thursday because they were searching for a suspect in a cell phone robbery is questioning the NYPD’s actions that morning.

Carlo Alcis, 43, collapsed shortly after police entered his apartment on Rockaway Parkway in Brownsville; at the time, police said he appeared to be experiencing seizure symptoms.
