Where Do We Go From Here?

For the past 36 years, PUSH for Excellence and Rainbow PUSH have commemorated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This year, the annual holiday falls on Inauguration Day where the 47th President of the United States will be sworn into office. In response to this and the divisive rhetoric and proposed policies of the incoming administration, PUSH is calling for unity and action inspired by Dr. King’s last book “Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community.”

PUSH is calling on leaders in the business, faith, and civic community to unite alongside elected officials to ensure every child has access to a bright future which includes: a high quality education, especially African American children who are disproportionately affected by educational inequities, safe communities where children can learn and grow without fear of violence, and a healthy home that nourishes the mind, body, and soul.

In the coming weeks, PUSH will convene key stakeholders, leaders, and community members to strengthen partnerships, advance key objectives and determine policy recommendations around education, safe communities, and healthy homes.

Join Us: We need YOUR help. Sign up to get involved with PUSH.

Thank you for your support! Together, we can ensure our children have the bright future they deserve.
