Chicago, IL – Funeral services for Vera Pearl Arnwine, the mother of Attorney Barbara Arnwine, president/founder of the Transformative Justice Coalition, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the New Commandment Baptist Church, 15548 Paramount Blvd., Paramount, CA.

“We extend our condolences to Attorney Arnwine on the loss of her precious mother,” said Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. “She was the guiding light in the life of not only her daughter and her family, but hundreds whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace and power.”

The repast will be held at Westchester Park, 7000 W. Manchester Avenue, Los Angeles, CA.

Mrs. Arnwine will be laid to rest at the Inglewood Park Cemetery in the Garden of Roses, 720 E. Florence Ave., Inglewood, CA.
