PUSH for Excellence’s 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Weekend of Events
Building a Beloved Community

Join us for PUSH Excel’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Weekend as we come together under the theme “Building a Beloved Community,” inspired by Dr. King’s vision of a society rooted in justice, love, and belonging.
Dr. King’s concept of the Beloved Community challenges us to reject hate, greed, and division—and instead, to create a world where everyone is valued and no one is left behind. Today, we face powerful forces that test our collective resolve: racial injustice, deepening economic inequality, persistent educational inequities, and the normalization of violence in our communities. Yet, Dr. King’s legacy calls us not only to remember his dream but to answer his demand for action.
Unite with PUSH as we reflect, serve, and recommit to building the Beloved Community—together.
