Session Description: “We have lost a battle that we have fought, and we have never won a battle unless we have fought.” Ideals such as dignity, freedom and equality come with a price. In our work and coalition building, we continue to carry the torch so that it can be passed on to the next generation. We will discuss how unions are addressing the expansion of organizing some of the largest corporation on the planet: Apple, Starbucks, Amazon — addressing the issue of Fairness, Equality and Inclusion in jobs and contracts.
