Meet us first at Rainbow PUSH for breakfast and special programming centered on our students, families, educators and the importance of supporting our communities as we enter another school year.

Following the Forum, we’ll take the celebration across town and join our friends at the Chicago Teachers Union for their Back-2-School Summer Jam — a free community celebration featuring performances, raffles, prizes and activities for Chicago families.

The Summer Jam will bring students, parents, educators and community members together for a full day of fun as Chicago gets ready to head back to school.

We encourage families to begin the day with us at Rainbow PUSH at 8:00 AM for breakfast and programming before joining us as we move over to the Chicago Teachers Union for the Back-2-School Summer Jam.

This Saturday is about more than preparing backpacks and classrooms. It is about surrounding our young people with the community, resources, encouragement and opportunities they need to begin the school year strong.
