"Youth, Leadership & STEM Take Center Stage "
This Saturday Morning Forum is going to look a little different, and we cannot wait to welcome you!
As we celebrate Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.’s birthday weekend, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition is opening our doors for a special day centered on something Reverend has championed throughout his life: investing in our young people and preparing the next generation to lead.
On Saturday, October 10, we are proud to welcome Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Talented Tenth District to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition for two exciting youth experiences happening during our Saturday Morning Forum programming: the Tenth District Youth Leadership Conference and Omega S.T.E.M. Fest.
From leadership and mentorship to science, technology, engineering and mathematics, young people will have the opportunity to learn, connect, explore, grow and see new possibilities for their futures.
Youth Leadership Conference: High school male students in grades 9–12 will take part in a day focused on real world skills, mentorship, personal growth and becoming stronger leaders in their schools and communities.
Omega S.T.E.M. Fest: Students will experience hands on activities, industry exposure, mentorship opportunities and real world learning designed to make STEM exciting, accessible and inspiring.
There could not be a more fitting way to celebrate Rev. Jackson’s birthday weekend. His life’s work has always been about opening doors, creating opportunities and reminding young people that their dreams matter. Bringing the next generation into the Rainbow PUSH Coalition for a day of learning, leadership and possibility continues that legacy.
